Sometimes Windows is smarter than you think. Just like a pet
dog, Windows picks up certain habits if you do them over and
over and over again.
Take for example the automatic insertion of "Shortcut to"
when you name a shortcut. If you keep removing "Shortcut
to," Windows will eventually understand that you don't like
this. After you remove this eight times, it will stop adding
this text in the future.
Why do this?
