Windows Tip: Train Windows
 		     

Make your Windows obey with this tip.

Sometimes Windows is smarter than you think. Just like a pet dog, Windows picks up certain habits if you do them over and over and over again.

Take for example the automatic insertion of "Shortcut to" when you name a shortcut. If you keep removing "Shortcut to," Windows will eventually understand that you don't like this. After you remove this eight times, it will stop adding this text in the future.

Why do this?

You can already tell it's a shortcut because of the shortcut box above the icon.
More than one "Shortcut to" title clutters up the desktop.
You can't jump from icon to icon by pressing "S," because all shortcuts begin with "S."
