Kill the Wizard

Windows: Computer Tip

There is an Internet Connection Wizard in Win98 that pops up every time you try  to access anything remotely affiliated with the Net. If this feature bothers  you, there are a few ways to rid your PC of it.

If you want to delete the entire Wizard, locate the file in C:Program  FilesInternet Explorer and delete.

  Gourmet Pastas and Sauces on-line

  Free Phone Card

If you don't want to delete the Wizard entirely, you can simply make it  disappear. The next time the Wizard pops up, select Cancel. Then choose the "Don't show the Internet Connection Wizard next time" option. This puts the Wizard into hibernation mode.
