This company started as a
club. My 5yr. old son (Tony) helped me service computers. He didn't know it
was a business. He thought it was a club. One day he asked me what was the
name of our club. I told him we didn't have a name and it was a company not
a club. He didn't like that our company didn't have a name so he said he
was going to name it. I said ok. He came up with the name Computers Today. I asked, "Why that name?"
He replied, "Because when your computer is broken you always want it
fixed today." End of story! Needless to say I
immediately changed the status of my company to a corporation and named it Computers Today Inc. Our club.....now Company
services over 100 machines monthly. Computers
Today Inc. buys,
sells, upgrades and repairs computers. We sell over 1,000 titles of
software. We build web pages and more.
The biggest reward of all is
how my son and I have grown closer from working together. He is truly my
best little buddy. I hope to give him this company some day. With his
natural concern of his customers, I know he'll do fine.
